114a Cromwell Road

Description

114a Cromwell Road is an existing prominent Seifert-designed office building in Kensington. The building is characterised by angular, zig-zag brick detailing that is also expressed in full-height glazed slots around the core. The 5th and 6th floor extension and refurbishment works take this strong architectural language and add a contemporary twist to it, with angular, metal-clad bays, bay windows, curtain walling and sliding doors providing a high specification duplex space that is filled with natural light. The refurbishment works also involved the introduction of new minimal zig zag curtain walling and high performance solar and acoustic glazing to the atrium and core areas, new core cladding and new entrance glazing and doors.
